Blue Wail

Blue Wail casts you as a ship captain trapped inside the dream of an ancient whale. To earn your freedom, you must restore the dream-world archipelago. Inspired by the Maluku Islands specifically Kei Islands, by cleansing its shores of pollution and constructing barriers to keep the ocean clean. Though the whale holds you here, his gentle guidance and the world's quiet beauty gradually shift your goal from escape to genuine care for this place.

The mood is relaxed and meditative. Players should feel the quiet satisfaction of tidying a stretch of beach, the hope of watching an island recover, and pride in seeing their prevention structures hold back the tide of waste.

Core gameplay focuses on shoreline cleanup (plastic, driftwood, metal debris) and light construction of anti-pollution measures. Additional waste types and restoration tools will expand the loop in later stages.
